iron – brass

Moscow – Russia

Seventeenth-century style ornamental elements were added to this monumental Russian government building. For the imposing staircase with tangential slopes, which extends across the four floors of the building with a total length of 800 meters, railings were designed and produced that do not require any upright supports thanks to the dense mesh of curls that comprise them. In addition to this, several wrought-iron doors were also supplied, along with grilles to cover the twelve palms and inlaid glass railings supported by aluminium compartments finished in gold leaf.

In the execution of the drawing the architectural style has been completely respected, which is enhanced by the light coming from the glass window of the dome above. The black color of the decoration is a fine detail of the chosen design solution and the brass handrail perfectly matches the architectural style.
