MILAN – ITALY

CityLife is the redevelopment project of the historic urban center of the Milan Trade Fair. With a total area of 366,000 square meters, it is one of the largest urban development areas in Europe. Sustainability, quality of life, and services are the elements that characterize CityLife, an articulated and balanced mix of public and private functions including residential, office, retail, green areas, and pedestrian areas for leisure time.

A bespoke elegance pervades the rooms, embellished with classic Parisian touches, offering guests elite hospitality. For this prestigious hotel, Gonzato Group designed the railings of the imposing stairways and all the internal balustrades that overlook the common areas to measure and masterfully created them.

The new concept is respectful of the existing, without renouncing a functional updating, calibrated on the needs expressed by the client and on the enhancement of the original compositional elements, such as the stone that covers the base of the building, drawing a typically Milanese landscape at eye level for colors and tactile perception.

In an elegant and peaceful neighborhood of this pearl of southern Spanish culture, not far from the sanctuary of Our Lady of Consolation, an important project has given life to an elegant private residence dominated by the Mozarabic style, typical of the Iberian Peninsula and characterized by a of Christian-Arabic elements.

The architectural project, signed by a famous Taiwanese architect known for important projects in Beijing and Shanghai, involved the use of numerous metal elements with a particularly sophisticated design. For this reason, the client, a lover of beauty and Italian craftsmanship, chose Gonzato Group which – with its fifty years of experience and craftsmanship – was able to fully satisfy the needs by creating all the external metal structures to measure.

In these rooms, Gonzato Group supplied and installed the entire structure of the staircase. Made entirely of iron, it stands out for its visual impact, thus becoming an important aesthetic component and interpreter of elegance and design.

For Villa Clementino, a residential complex near São Paulo, Gonzato Group was contacted in order to revive all the metal structures of the common areas of these luxurious spaces, which inspire life in a sophisticated environment.

The façades and windows of the building form an edged composition, which is emphasised by all the parapets supplied by Gonzato Group. The ornate decorative grilles protect the terraces and allow to admire the wonderful internal gardens.
