Gonzato Group signs the railings of all the staircases on the prestigious ship

The sixth vessel of Regent Seven Seas Cruises – the world’s most exclusive cruise company – Seven Seas Grandeur was launched in Ancona on November 14th and features numerous custom-made products from the Contract Division of Gonzato Group. The company was chosen to design and manufacture all the glass railings for the staircases, balustrades, crowd-dividers, and handrails in the aft and bow areas that connect the ship’s 14 traversable decks.

Inspired by the liberty style, which characterizes all common areas, these elements were engineered, according to the client’s design, and entirely made of brass. This material requires a particular and delicate processing, especially for the rounded shapes of the various elements, considering the ductility and malleability of this noble metal. However, when treated with skill, it can offer unparalleled aesthetic results, as in this case. To protect the products from brass oxidation, each individual element underwent a detailed bronzing process, providing the metal not only with resistance to atmospheric agents but also a sought-after, ancient-looking material effect.

This prestigious achievement once again confirms Gonzato Group’s ability to meet any design requirement, offering custom solutions that are not only aesthetically in line with the most advanced stylistic trends but also safe in use and functional in the spaces where they are installed.
